Here is a guide to quick and successful customer acquisition
I really want to embarrass anyone here. If the writer reads this here, I ask for your understanding to be able to use this e-mail exchange as an example (after all, there is at the end the manual as I would have liked the course). I also found the action and so great in itself. Search out potential customers directly out and contact them with a concrete proposal for cooperation: because in principle this idea of canvassing was indeed right and good.
But apart from the fact that the lady has then not reported back in January, why has this kind of canvassing in my case does not work?
1. Bad start: In the first sentence is that there is probably something to my "visual appearance" - negative - are noted. - Well, thanks for the nice entry!
2. No background information: I had to ask, with whom (professional background, etc.) I had to do it at all. - I've nothing else to do.
3. Never anything concrete: 2 times I have tried to find out anything concrete about these comments. 3 answers and I still do not know what it was exactly. - From there I was really annoyed.
Direct contact to a certain point at which the entrepreneur can do something for me. Combined with a kind of bait. So far, so good idea - and so insufficient unfortunately the implementation. Exactly such kind of inquiries I get, sadly, again and again.
Is it my job, the entrepreneur who wants to MY money to pull out of his nose, which he can do just for me ?! I just want to make my life easier service!
So my tip: Make it to the potential customers as easy as possible. Not Gain him extra work, but take him from all work.
Here is a simple template or manual, which you can customize for your needs and your style:
1. Find target customers for whom you have found a problem that you can really solve well.
IMPORTANT: Consider making at least one free tip you can give the target customer in advance.
2. Contact the target customers with the following information:
a) ... in your business I like ... and I would like to work with you because ...
b) I have noticed that ... The following immediate action (free, valuable tip!) I would recommend you. Moreover, I could do the following for you: ...
c) Some information about my background ...
d) I would love to learn in a personal conversation more about you and your business and help you clarify if and how I can help you best.
e) I'm on ... you try to reach by phone. (or any other concrete proposal as it will go).
I have worked over the years with some entrepreneurs. Do you know what the all dream?
From employees and service providers, will present as concrete, designed and prepared the ideas, solutions and proposals that they just have to say, "Okay, we'll do that."
In earnest! Every business owner, manager or decision maker has to do enough to ponder and decide. Take it to work and the risk covered and you get the job as good as certain.

I have my agency clients sent earlier every year between Christmas and New Year e-mail.
